The 0-19 Healthy Child Programme offers every family a programme of screening tests, immunisations, developmental reviews, and information and guidance to support parenting and healthy choices – all services that children and families need to receive if they are to achieve their optimum health and wellbeing. As we sit under two local authorities; Norfolk and Suffolk County Councils, there are two separate services for children and their families living in Great Yarmouth and Waveney.
In Norfolk, the service is called Just One Norfolk www.justonenorfolk.nhs.uk/ and 0300 300 0123
If you need to book or change an appointment or seek health advice or information, just ring at any time from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm Monday to Friday, and 9.00 am to 1.00 pm on a Saturday. The service is also available for key stakeholders such as social care and GP practice nurses to refer clients for non-emergency issues.
In Suffolk, the programme is called Healthy Suffolk www.healthysuffolk.org.uk/advice-services/children
If you would like support, the website includes a range of information from breastfeeding to school nurses with helpful contact details for agencies and providers in your area.
